No joke, we build mailboxes, the best and most beautiful in the world! 🙂 In addition to mailboxes, we make many other things – actually everything that the heart desires at the house entrance. There is a lot of information about these products, starting with sober master data such as item numbers, dimensions, weights, delivery times, assembly instructions and product images through to literary, extremely solid, downright exciting sales texts. At least that’s what our copywriter says.
This product information must be organized and maintained, enriched and refined. They are of course also dynamic, which is why this is a permanent construction site, a job with long-term, solid future prospects.
That’s exactly why we’re looking for you. You will become a member of the marketing team in our family business and, in close cooperation with your colleagues, you will take care of the management of product data and the structure of our PIMs (product information management).
You have no fear of contact with IT and have enough patience to communicate factual content between monologizing programmers and technically impossible marketing people with visionary thinking, your English is not necessarily C2 level, but more than enough for mails and Google ? You get along well with Excel, you don’t know all the functions by heart, but what is the help for?
Your tasks
- You make sure that our product data is complete and correct in the PIM.
- You prepare the product data in the PIM according to specifications so that we can use them in our online shop.
- You support us with our websites by mediating with us between graphic designers and programmers.
- You coordinate with your colleagues from the various departments.
- You will not only work on the further development and optimization of our processes and systems, but also on the introduction of new procedures – and in an active role.
- That means you don’t have to spoon out the soup for others (at least not always, of course we also have our constraints and skeletons in the closet), but are already there in the kitchen. 😊
- You like to think one step ahead and “what if” mind games.
- You are a sparring partner and supporter for and from our online manager Rahel. (If you ever manage to show her something in Excel that she doesn’t know by heart, there’s an extra coffee.)
Your profile
- Professional experience with data processing
- IT affinity (basic knowledge of database structures and software projects)
- Knowledge and experience with product information systems (PIM software)
- Knowledge and experience with online shop systems (Magento) are a plus
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
- You can also do all the above tasks in English 🙂
- You are persistent, committed, team-oriented, can work independently, reliably and precisely. Google is your friend, the unknown makes your working life interesting. You don’t try to solve every new problem with the methods you know, but first see what other people have thought of – and then pull out the details that seem appropriate to you.
