Parcel boxes for secure and convenient parcel collection

Parcel boxes allow you to receive deliveries securely, regardless of the delivery service, protected from the weather and even when no one is at home.

Whether for detached houses, apartment blocks or commercial use, parcel boxes provide a reliable way to receive parcels on a daily basis. They protect parcels from the elements and unauthorised access, ensuring that deliveries can be received securely even when you’re not at home.

What do parcel boxes do?

Online shopping has long been part of everyday life. At the same time, traditional parcel delivery is tied to fixed collection times. Parcel boxes solve this problem by providing a secure, permanently installed collection point. Couriers can deposit parcels securely without the recipient needing to be there.

Parcel boxes can be used independently of delivery services and are suitable for both private households and apartment blocks and small commercial premises. Depending on the model, they vary in size, features, expandability and intended use.

What matters when it comes to high-quality parcel boxes:

Not all parcel boxes meet the same requirements. The key factors are, above all, the quality of the materials, the workmanship and their suitability for everyday use. High-quality parcel boxes are designed for long-term outdoor use and must function reliably even with frequent use.

KNOBLOCH’s parcel boxes are Made in Germany and designed for durability. Robust materials, precise workmanship and practical designs ensure high reliability over the long term. Our smallest model can hold several size S postal boxes at once, whilst our largest boasts an impressive 128 litres and can easily accommodate size L postal boxes.

Another advantage is the easy installation. The parcel boxes can be installed without the need for major structural work and are designed for typical installation scenarios around the house and property.

Frequently asked questions about parcel boxes

What is the difference between a parcel box and a parcel locker?

In everyday language, the terms ‘parcel box’ and ‘parcel locker’ are used interchangeably. Both refer to solutions for the secure collection of parcels when the recipient is away. The differences do not lie in the terminology, but in the specific design of each model – for example, in terms of parcel size, delivery mechanism or features.

That depends on the system in question. There are certainly parcel boxes that are tied to a specific delivery service and can only be used by that service. But not ours! The parcel boxes presented here are designed to be independent of any delivery service and can be used by various parcel services without the need for special keys, codes or contractual agreements.

Parcel boxes are suitable for detached houses as well as for semi-detached and multi-family homes and small commercial premises. Depending on the model and size, they can be adapted to a range of different scenarios, from private household use to shared use by several parties.

The maximum parcel size depends on the specific model. High-quality parcel boxes are designed to accommodate standard parcel sizes and, depending on the model, can also hold large parcels up to DHL Packset size L (or larger). The specific suitability is indicated in the model overview for each model.

Whether multiple parcels can be deposited one after the other depends on the parcel box’s delivery mechanism. A parcel slot allows for multiple deliveries without the need for interim emptying. A parcel door, on the other hand, which is locked after the parcel or parcels have been placed inside, is limited to a single delivery (though this may itself involve multiple parcels).

Some parcel box models feature a built-in letterbox or can be combined with a letterbox as an optional extra. Whether this combination is possible depends on the specific model.

A configurator is particularly useful when there are specific requirements – such as unusual space constraints, multiple users or a desire for particular features. For clearly defined standard solutions, however, simply selecting an item directly from the shop may be sufficient.

Our parcel boxes are designed for easy installation and are not usually supplied as a flat-pack kit. They can be installed in standard locations around the house or on the property without the need for major building work.
