The name of the family. The street and the house number. Or the company name and the most important product. Or something completely different. Labelling is what gives a mailbox its personal touch and makes it individual. And of course we at KNOBLOCH have a large selection that perfectly matches the look and quality of your mailbox.
Here you will find information and name plates for doorbell panels, mailboxes and parcel boxes, protection against excessive junk mail and more. Available in many variants with a wide variety of sizes, shapes, materials and fonts. We are happy to answer any enquiries about these products.
A second nameplate with ‘Advertising’ sign insert is available as an option. The label insert is labelled ‘Advertising yes please’ or ‘Advertising no thanks’ on the front and back.
The second name plate is positioned centrally to the insert flap. This prevents the attachment of mismatched stickers.
In classic engraving, material is removed to a depth of 0.25 mm using a router and then filled with colour. Engraving sizes up to 610 mm height are possible (with a maximum plate height of 800 mm). The standard fill colours are nitro colour mixtures.
In addition to classic text engraving, logo engraving is also possible.
Laser engraving is considered the most modern engraving technique. A laser beam heats the metal at the point of impact so intensely that the engraved text remains in black colour. We offer laser engraving on stainless steel up to a text height of 40 mm as standard, with larger sizes available on request.
Laser engraving is particularly suitable for high-quality engraving of name plates.
In cut-through engraving (laser cut), the material is not just engraved by laser but completely cut through. We offer cut-through engraving for aluminium and stainless steel from a text height of 20 mm. The cut-through engraving is then backed with UV-resistant acrylic. LED backlighting is also optionally available. On request, we also offer cut-through engravings with high-quality inlay work (flush filling of the engraving with acrylic).
For adhesive lettering, we use special colour films. These are resistant to UV light and weather (minimum 5-7 years depending on pigment), resistant to temperature fluctuations (-40°C to +50°C) and steam cleaning resistant. We offer adhesive lettering from a text height of 10 mm.
Logos and graphics can also be applied to a system via adhesive film.
