Care Instructions
For a long product life!
- Please clean all products, especially stainless steel products, regularly if they are dirty or exposed to aggressive environmental influences (e.g. salty air). This is the only way to guarantee a long service life. Powder-coated surfaces as well as stainless steel and anodized aluminium surfaces should be cleaned with warm water and conventional household cleaners.
- Stainless steel surfaces should also be treated regularly with our special stainless steel care product (order number 24035).
- Please do not use any mechanical or oxide-dissolving care products. They will damage and destroy the surfaces.
- Door hinges, locking systems and locks should be treated with suitable special care products or lubricants twice a year, or at the latest at the first signs of jamming or catching.

Transport damage & shipping
Transport damage should not be your loss!
The transportation of goods is not without risk. They are endangered by things that are beyond our control. We depend on your cooperation because in the event of damage, you are the injured party!
So that you can protect your rights, please note the following:
- The goods must be checked for damage IMMEDIATELY upon delivery.
- If the packaging is obviously damaged from the outside (obvious transport damage), this must be reported to the carrier immediately and acceptance of the goods must be refused.
- Alternatively, the goods can be opened in the presence of the carrier to check for actual damage and/or shortages.
- The damage must also be recorded in writing on the freight documents and confirmed by the carrier.
- It is advisable to document the damage photographically and also note the license plate number of the vehicle.
- In order for the transport service provider to be liable, damage must be reported in writing by the recipient within the statutory deadlines, i. e. immediately, but no later than seven (7) calendar days.
- In the case of open transport damage, this must be done immediately upon receipt of the goods.
Concealed transport damage
Transport damage is considered concealed if the packaging is undamaged, there is no other obvious defect and the damage only becomes visible when or after the packaging is removed.
- If minor dents or other slight deformations of the outer packaging are noticeable, it is advisable to check the goods for damage in the presence of the carrier.
- If damage is actually found, the damage should be treated in the same way as ‘open transport damage’.
- If the damage is only discovered later, it must be reported to KNOBLOCH in writing immediately, but at the latest within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of the goods.
- If the recipient can prove that the damage occurred during transportation, the carrier is liable.
- It is better to walk around the pallet twice than to sign for the goods immediately – it only takes a few seconds, but it can save many hours of trouble!
- By signing the receipt, the customer confirms the integrity of the goods at the time of delivery and releases the carrier from any further claims, as the goods are no longer in his possession.
- From the time of signature, the goods are deemed to have been delivered in perfect condition and further claims can only be asserted against the carrier by means of credible proof (e.g. by an expert) that the damage occurred as a result of transportation.
- Our (direct and legal) responsibility is transferred to the carrier upon acceptance of the goods by the carrier.
- After delivery of the goods – clearly documented by acknowledgement of acceptance – responsibility is transferred to the customer.
