Our front Panels are Specially Secured with fixing Sleeves so that Damage can be Avoided during Transport and Handling on the Construction site. The Fixing Sleeves are Installed in the Corners and at Regular Intervals between them. The Sleeves are not Visible when Installed because the Glazing beads Cover them and do not Represent a Thermal Bridge due to the Choice of Materials.

The Heat-insulating Letter Boxes can be easily Integrated into thermally Insulated front panels - both Horizontally and Vertically! The only Prerequisite for this is a Mailbox that is at least 370 mm wide and at least 165 mm High.

Glazing beads are Useful for Installing Mailbox Systems in a door side panel. They Establish the Connection between the front Panel on the one hand and the Existing Profile in the door side part on the other. There are Glazing beads for Different Insulation thicknesses. They are cut to the Required length and Powder-coated or Anodized in the Desired color.

Door Side Panel Systems can also be Installed so that they Partially protrude from the door side panel. This saves e.g. B. Valuable Space in the Hallways. The Portion of the Letter Box Housing that Protrudes towards the front must then be Provided with a panel. Bulky Cladding types such as RI220 are Recommended as Cladding to avoid Cold Spots.

In the Case of wing-covering Installation, the outer front plate hides the door profile, creating a flush look. The System is Inserted Directly into the Door Profile and the Outer front panel is glued to the door Profile. Inside the System is fixed with the help of Glazing Beads.

Anodized Surfaces offer Protection against Mechanical influences and are Weather and Corrosion Resistant. The Metallic luster of the material is retained because the oxide layer is transparent. In Particular, Mailbox Systems, and here in Particular door side Systems, are often used with anodized Surfaces in order to make them Visually Suitable for anodized facades and Anodized Entrance Systems.

The EURAS Standard is used to define the Same Color of parts on site. For absolute Color Consistency, the Customer must Provide a sample. In Principle, all Desired colors can be achieved.

PVD COATING

The PVD Coating is a Special Process when a brass-colored Surface is desired in the area of the Mailboxes and Bell Panels. Polished Stainless Steel Parts are Steamed in a vacuum chamber. Since Original brass parts weather quickly and are very Sensitive to vandalism with a paint Protection Layer, a PVD Coating is an alternative, as it Creates a very hard, Resistant Surface.

Otherwise, this Process can be used to create many Color shades from gold to Brass, Bronze, Copper, Silver, Gray, Anthracite to black or matt black. The Process is very Complex and therefore also very cost-intensive. However, it is Convincing in terms of Quality and is therefore offered by KNOBLOCH when Inquiring about brass-colored articles.

In Addition to Stainless Steels, Aluminum and Galvanized Steel Sheet with a small Zinc Flower are Processed. Aluminum and Sheet Steel are always Powder-coated or Anodized for aluminum. Pre-treatment is always Preceded by Powder Coating. In Addition to the existing Corrosion Protection (galvanizing or aluminum), iron phosphating (sheet steel) or chrome-free passivation (aluminum) takes place here.
