And it’s that simple: the delivery person uses a display to select the recipient of the shipment and a free compartment in the system from a preset list of house residents. After the shipment has been deposited and the door closed, the compartment is locked automatically and the access code appears on the system display. Depending on the model of the parcel compartment system, the code can be transmitted in two ways: the delivery service notes this on a notification card and throws it into the recipient’s mailbox or the consignee is automatically sent an SMS with the access code.

The KNOBOX package box, on the other hand, impresses with its clever package lock solution. The three-point locking with snap lock and the door reinforcement make this model particularly secure. The TORONTO and JASPER parcel letter boxes are the ideal versions for single-family houses. These standing boxes also contain a mechanical device. The parcels are deposited here through a flap. As with the mailbox, removal takes place using a key from the collecting compartment.
